Delivery Options

If you are unable to pick up your puppy from our home located in North Carolina, we offer delivery anywhere in the US. If delivery is needed, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate you. You are also welcome to arrange your own transportation. All delivery, airline travel fees and requirements are at buyer’s expense. Delivery quotes are valid for 3 days.

Delivery By Car

We personally drive to deliver our puppies. Delivery is recommended and is most cost effective for anyone located on the east coast/not too far from North Carolina. We charge $1.25 per mile, plus tolls if applicable. We will discuss a date/time and an estimated time of arrival. ETA’s will not always be exact, but we will do our best to deliver the puppy at a reasonable time and we will be in contact with you along the way. Puppies are usually delivered same day or next day, but you must be flexible and allow extra time for stops, clean ups, sleep, traffic, weather etc. The average cost of delivery is $100-$750+ depending on the location. The delivery fee is due upon delivery of the puppy. If you need a quote, feel free to reach out to us.

Flying the Puppy with a Flight Nanny

Flying is recommended and is most cost effective for anyone located in the middle US and on the west coast. We work with a flight nanny who will accompany the puppy and fly to you. We will discuss with you a date/time, your airport of choice, and make flight arrangements to best accommodate you. The weight of the puppy + the carrier the puppy must travel in may not exceed 20 lbs. therefore it is important for the puppy to fly between 8-9 weeks of age. Usually puppies are delivered same day or next day but you must be flexible as flight times can change, be weather permitting or get canceled. Our closest airport is Norfolk International Airport in Norfolk, Virginia. We will require $60 for transporting the puppy to/from the airport since it is a 3 hour round trip for us. The average cost for flying is $650-$750+ but can vary. Some Flight nannies require payment before flight, some require payment upon receipt of the puppy. We prefer this method of delivery, it is well worth it for the families who live far from North Carolina. You will have the peace of mind the puppy is accompanied and will arrive quickly. Please offer food and water upon receiving your puppy.

You can cut out the price of the flight nanny completely if you fly here to pick up the puppy yourself. Most airlines offer an ‘in cabin’ flat fee if you are hand carrying your pet. Puppies are required to be in an airline approved, soft sided carrier (see below) that will fit under the seat in front of you. The puppy will count as one carry-on or personal item. The airport we use is Norfolk International Airport in Norfolk, Virginia. We can bring the puppy to the airport to meet you but we will require $60 for transporting the puppy to/from the airport since it is a 3 hour round trip for us.
